How to get a Slovakia/Schengen Business Visa in Australia with Indian/other Passport?
Hi Guys, Recently I have been to a process of getting business visa for Slovakia. I search for the details and happy to share the process with all for quick guidance.
Slovakia is under Schengen Area, hence you will have the visa for 26 European Countries.

Detailed process as below:
Document List: • Filled Visa Application • Photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm) • Original Passport and Copy (First and last page copy only) • Australian PR Letter • Travel Insurance (At least of 30 Euros) • Invitation Letter from Slovakian branch (Without signature is acceptable but good to have a signed one) • Declaration of Visit Letter (Signed by Local Country/Office Manager) • Financial Support Letter • Your Credit Card and Bank Statement • Job Continuation Letter • Return Ticket • Accommodation Proof – Hotel Booking
Process: 1. Be ready with all the documents and book an appointment via email. Email: emb.canberra@mzv.sk Confirm the document List with the counselor, it might depend on your case. 2. You have to go to Slovak embassy as they need your finger print to be done. 3. Book your trip to Canberra. Slovak embassy address as below. The Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Canberra 47 Culgoa Circuit, O’ Malley, Canberra, Australia +61 262901516 4. Deputy Head of Mission & Consul will help you with your documentation and Finger print. 5. The Fees on the Application is saying it’s free, however keep some cash with you as there might be some Visa fees. ($93 was charged in my case – Single entry – 8 days Visa) 6. Once your finger print is done, they will check, scan and upload all the docs and confirm about your visa. Mostly in 2-3 hours you will be having your visa.
Things to remember: • Slovak embassy is 15 minutes drive from Canberra airport • Be ready to wait for the return flight if you get the visa early. • Keep the cab number handy as public transport is not available. • Keep the list of places you can visit in Canberra if you have time before boarding to return flight.
