Hi Folks,
ESET Anti-Theft is great feature if you would like to use.
However, if by mistake you remove the device from Anti-theft online account you might miss your main account as per the security configuration.
Do below to recover your system’s main account.
1.) download ESET uninstaller tool from http://download.eset.com/special/ESETUninstaller.exe and save it ideally on c:\ drive 2.) restart computer 3.) boot into Windows Safe mode 4.) Uninstall ESET product using the ESET Uninstaller tool (procedure is mentioned at http://support.eset.com/kb2289/) 5.) Enable your original account by running the command line As Administrator and execute the following command: net user Ian /active:yes 6.) restart to regular Windows mode and log into Ian account 7.) run command line As Administrator and delete the phantom-account by executing: net user John /DELETE
To grant the antivirus protection, install the ESET product again.
